Yeah there's a millitary base, actually 2 close to where i live, and I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if there are jobs blind people could do in the millitary even if it's like data entry work or something like that.

I currently work at my local airforce base as a switchboard opperator... It's a job that is subcontracted, but I like it. You may want to try contacting your local agency for the visually impaired, or the base itself and explain the situation...

Hmmm, interesting. I've always wanted to join the Hellenic military but am not a citizen and don't live in Greece. Still, maybe when I do, I can look into switchboard stuff. I know the government has them open for blind people in general. Also, if you're good in music, you might want to consider something like that. My boyfriend was in the orchestra for the Hellenic Air force (different from the band, which mostly plays patriotic music etc for parades). But even if you can't do that, maybe you could volunteer and perform for the soldiers. What about cooking for them? Just some thoughts.
